Printing & Paper
Lustre Prints
Our lustre prints are produced on Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper using an inkjet printing process. We've chosen this method for its archival quality, rich and consistent colors, and proven stability over time.
Giclée Prints
Giclée prints are archival pigment-based artist's prints. These prints come on a smooth neutral white matte paper (similar to a smooth watercolor paper). This method also has an excellent archival quality, rich and consistent colors, and proven stability over time. In addition, Giclée prints are an excellent option if you'd like to hang the print without a frame like a poster.
Scott has extensive experience in print reproduction for fine art books and brings this knowledge to the production of our maps ensuring the highest quality product.
Print Sizing
There are 4 main size groups (A, B, C, D). Because each map has unique proportions, most maps have slightly different sizes. Check product pages for exact measurements.
Framing
Our custom frames are simple white gallery frames that compliment the maps. They are made of wood and include: UV-shielding acrylic, which protects against about 89% of UV rays and 92% of light transmission. They include an archival acid-free foam core backing, protective paperback finish, hanging hardware and nails, and hanging and care instructions.
