Oregon Coast Series

Today we are introducing a new series of maps on the coast of Oregon. This is the first in a number of series that we've made that take a deeper look into beautiful places. The Oregon coast is one of those beautiful places and these maps bring to life some of the amazing physical features of the region. 

This series is quite special to me because it tracks a bike trip that I took with my Dad 10 years ago from Astoria to Coos Bay. Over the course of a week we road among the hills, forests, bridges, beaches, and small towns that dot the coast. We camped in state parks right off the beaches. We felt the fog, the wind, the salt, and the exhaustion of all of the hills.
